Feeding Dogs - Dr Conor Brady

Feeding Dogs by Dr. Conor Brady is an excellent research tool to help you understand the science behind diet and what to feed your dog and why. It is an incredibly well-written, well-referenced, thorough examination of the raw dog food debate. Dr. Brady provides a detailed summary of all the issues, leaving the reader well-educated and ready to engage in a knowledgable conversation with pet professionals looking for more information.

excel-erated learning - Pamela j reid

I find Excel-erated Learning by Pamela J Reid to be the most definitive guide to understanding and implementing dog behaviour and training. It is clearly written, easy to understand and an good read for anyone wanting to know more about dog behaviour.

Dogs - Raymond and Lorna Coppinger

This book really surprised me and delved me into a world I thought I knew a lot about. The Coppingers took common assumptions we hear about dogs and makes you look at them with scientific insight. As someone who is currently studying the world of scentwork, I especially loved the section on how humans have altered many behaviours in dogs in order to utilise them for specific jobs such as herding or hunting.
